Granbahamal (グランバハマル, Guranbahamaru) is a fantasy another world of Swords & Magic, where Uncle spent 17 years of his life, while he was in coma on Earth.

Granbahamal is populated by Humans and various other races like Elves, and generally everyone in the other world are really good looking, that an average looking person from Earth would be considered as an Orc subspecies.
The people of Granbahamal have the culture of naming themselves in such a way that the "last part of their given name" and the "last part of their surname" sound similar.
Copper coins are used as circulating currency in general with a value of about "10 Sen" per coin (aka., 0.1 Yen or ~0.07 US Cents per Copper Coin).
The common language spoken is called "Granbahamalian".
The existence of Other Worlds (called "Irellars") are known along with the existence of Japan which is known to the people as "Japanbahamal" (aka., "The World of Japan")

- Considering that the official translation translates the Kanji "日本の在りし処" used for "Japanbahamal" (ニホンバハマル, Nihonbahamaru), as "The World of Japan", it is possible to consider that "Granbahamal" might mean "The World of Gran".
